Join David from Home & Garden Landscapes in Raleigh, North Carolina, for one of his favorite projects — a full landscape renovation of a 1950s home. The original yard was overgrown and filled with the wrong plants for the space, so David and his team removed massive old foundation trees and reimagined the design for modern curb appeal.
New plantings include Limelight Hydrangeas, Tea Olive (Osmanthus) for winter fragrance, Pugster Blue Butterfly Bush, evergreen hollies, and Camellia sasanqua ‘Yuletide’ — a brilliant shrub that blooms from late October through Christmas.
Homeowner Hillary, whose parents will be moving into the home, was thrilled with the results and added her own touch by requesting more Camellias for extra color.
Watch as the team transforms an outdated landscape into a vibrant, low-maintenance garden that highlights the home’s timeless charm and shows how thoughtful design can completely refresh an older property.
