Meet Sprout™, Home & Garden Landscapes’ newest family member. Sprout is our AI chatbot who can answer all sorts of questions about plants, trees, shrubs and many of your landscaping needs. You can drag and drop a photo into the chatbox that you’ve taken of a plant in your yard or garden and then ask Sprout to tell you its name and all sorts of information about the plant.
You can ask questions about plant care or if a plant would work well in your garden such as:
- “Can a Crape Myrtle grow in my yard in Raleigh?”
- “What is my best choice for a palm tree if I live in Hillsborough?”
- “What are the most common pests that hollies have?”
- “Tell me about caring for a Rose of Sharon.”
Sprout is trained to answer questions about our Triangle area and won’t be able to help you with desert or jungle plants!
TIPS: You can verbally ask your question by clicking the microphone icon in the chatbox (OS support required). You can drag and drop an image no larger than 5MB. You can also click the + icon or 📎paperclip icon to add a photo (varies by operating systems and browsers). At the bottom of each answer you can click one of the icons ⧉ to copy the answer to your clipboard or ⎙ to print your Q&A conversation.
